Summer goes by sooooo fast, much faster than we would like. September arrives, and with it, the end of the holidays and the return to school. Once again we have to adapt to schedules, routine, work and for the little ones, school.
At the pharmacy we want to make this return to routine much more bearable and we have selected a series of essential products, which will be of great help to both you and your children.
Among the complications that we can find in this post-summer return are problems sleeping, or establishing fixed schedules again; tiredness associated with not sleeping well, or the extra energy required to return to work and, last but not least, the dreaded lice.

1. Anti-lice treatments
Lice infestation among the little ones is the most normal thing in the world. Forgetting the drama that it may seem at first, they are a natural thing and we will accompany you from start to finish to put an end to them.
The complete Goibi kit will be your best ally in this case. Equipped with:
- 125ml pediculicidal lotion. 1% permethrin reinforced with 4% piperonyl butoxide that enhances its action from 2 to 12 times and prevents resistance.
- 125 ml pediculicidal shampoo.
- Metal nit comb.
- Cap to facilitate the maintenance of the treatment.
Both the shampoo and the lotion have a high density and are very easy to apply. Ideal to combat this fight in depth!

A little advice: after applying the lotion and shampoo, it is recommended to avoid using a hairdryer, as the hot air cancels out the effect of the residual insecticide.
We must not forget about nits. Permethrin shampoo and lotion eliminate lice, but not nits, which require special attention. They must be removed manually using a nit comb. They measure approximately 1 mm, are whitish and oval. They adhere to the hair root and are located preferably on the nape of the neck, behind the ears and the fringe. They are difficult to see and if not removed, they hatch after 7 days. Therefore, it is recommended to use the nit comb daily for about 5-7 days and repeat the treatment with lotion and shampoo 7 days after the first application, thus ensuring maximum effectiveness.
2. Blister plasters, band-aids and bruise sticks
Back to school often means wearing new shoes, and these new shoes can be accompanied by chafing and blisters. For older children and teenagers, it is highly recommended that they carry a blister plaster kit in their backpack, which will provide relief and comfort at the time, and will also prevent the blister from becoming a wound.
For the little ones, who often fall, bump and get bumps, it is best to have a few gel sticks on hand. These take up very little space and they can carry them in their backpack or we can carry them in our bags or pockets.
Arnidol gel sticks combine the flowers of Arnica montana L. and the tuber of Harpagophytum procumbens D.C. for their beneficial properties for the skin: they quickly refresh and comfort.

3. Supplements for sleep
Getting back into your habits after the summer can be a difficult task. To regulate your sleep again and promote rest, you can resort to the well-known melatonin supplements. There are some for children (usually in drops) and for adults.

4. Food supplements and vitamins.
We can always fight fatigue by giving our body extra vitamins, which will help reduce fatigue and strengthen our immune system, also helping to prevent colds. There is a wide variety of these supplements and they are also available for children, so come to the pharmacy and we will help you find the one that best suits your needs, to face the routine with more energy and stronger defenses.
